Children's Minister
As a Children's Minister at Raleigh Community Church of Christ, you will play a fundamental and impactful role in shaping the educational experiences of young children, focusing on both academics and biblical teachings. Your responsibilities encompass a variety of essential tasks, including the creation and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that caters to diverse learning styles. In addition to designing lesson plans, you will also be dedicated to fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore their faith. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to build strong, trusting connections with children and their families, creating a supportive community that encourages spiritual growth and development for all involved. Through your efforts, you will help lay a strong foundation for the children's future, both in their education and in their relationship with God.
Minister of Food Fellowship and Hospitality
The primary role is to prepare nutritious breakfast, lunch, and a variety of snacks for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old, Monday through Friday, at the Raleigh Community Church of Christ Christian Childcare Center. This involves not only cooking but also planning balanced meals that cater to the dietary needs of young children. On Sunday mornings, the responsibilities extend to preparing breakfast for both congregants and visitors before the worship service, ensuring everyone starts their day with a wholesome meal. Additionally, there may be some work required on Saturdays and evenings to prepare fellowship meals for church members, allowing the community to gather and enjoy delicious food together during special occasions and events. These varied duties contribute to creating a warm and nurturing environment for both the children and the church community.
Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Person at Raleigh Community Church of Christ, you will play a critical role in ensuring the facility's physical infrastructure is well-maintained, safe, and conducive to a positive environment. Your responsibilities include performing routine maintenance tasks, including heavy lifting, addressing repair needs, painting and collaborating with other staff to create a secure and comfortable church.
